The Black Pearl Cafe in Gweru works more as a nightlife spot than a daytime cafe, with jazz on Thursdays and a resident DJ for parties. Ngoni (December 2022) said “their food is to die for and the DJ is just on point”, and Leona (January 2023), celebrating a birthday there, praised “beautiful decor, delicious platter and ice cold beer”.

“Went to get on a Sunday after church,because we were incredibly famished,the service was slow,spend over 1h45 waiting,the staff wasn't friendly . The environment is too noisy 😑 qnd the food was really not up to standard. I might as well qualify as a better Chef.”
