Beerbab Brewpub and Brewery

Beerbab on Lawley Road is where Victoria Falls locals drink, a block off the main street and away from the tourist bars. Reviewers describe cold, cheap beer, a pool table and Zimbabwean rumba on the sound system. Warren (October 2022) called it the place “to hang with the locals and play some pool”, with “best prices for very cold beer”.

It opened as a brewpub, and Kudakwashe (November 2024) was pleased to learn it was the first female-owned brewery in Zimbabwe. Joseph (October 2024) reported that “they no longer brew their own beer”, so expect Zambezi and other local bottles rather than house drafts.

Food comes from a small kitchen just past the bar. Marc (November 2022) had “a very good sadza with beef or chicken stew” for two or three dollars, and a 2025 visitor wrote in German that the food was very tasty but the service slow.
