Bhello City Foods on Julius Nyerere Way is a CBD chips-and-chicken counter that reviewers treat as a Harare institution. Sikho (September 2023) described a short queue that “won't even last for a minute” before diners get “extra hot spicy tasty chips”, plus a seating area under shade and even a cloak room with showers and toilets. Ben (February 2021) called it value for money, saying a dollar buys chips in an “unbelievable” portion.

The fries are the recurring draw, though recent reviewers note the portions have shrunk.
