Pote Hill Hotel's restaurant serves sadza alongside grilled meats and a breakfast buffet. georgekN3623GT (2024) had “sadza and T-bone steak” one night and “Sadza and pork chops” the next, going for the buffet option at breakfast and giving “Props to the chef!”. Joseph (2024) said “The restaurant was great with great service” but suggested breakfast should start earlier than 7am for business travellers.

An older review tells a different story. Mtpc (2018) rated the room highly but said the food “was very poor and often took a long time to arrive”. More recent reviews describe consistently good food and service, and James (May 2026) called the hotel “above mid line” after a stay.

“I was happy to have stayed at Pote Hil Hotel. The room was clean and well maintained. It would have beem nice to have a work station with an electric plug considering the fact that, most people who are visiting, are on business trip and not leisure.”

“This hotel offered a comfortable room with a decent shower and a strong wifi connection for most of the time (it would cut off quite regularly when the power tripped for a few seconds). I slept very well for each of my three nights - the AC was good and pleasingly quiet.”
