Reflections Restaurant

Reflections is an upmarket restaurant on Industrial Road in Masvingo serving traditional Zimbabwean dishes alongside cocktails. Nomalanga (May 2026) had road runner chicken with beans and a veggie platter, calling the food “literally melting in my mouth”. Gzu (April 2022) recommended the “sweet like chocolate” and “club sango” cocktails, and Rutsch'en (June 2021) was similarly taken with the drinks list.

Tafadzwa (June 2022) described a clean, spacious dining room with “a wide variety of traditional Zimbabwean dishes” priced on the average side. The owner, Tanaka, gets a mention from Sophia (February 2019), a visitor from the UK, who said Tanaka “has really outdone” expectations in making the shisha section feel cosy, and added that a Zimbabwe trip is never complete without a visit. Economic (2025) enjoyed the food on offer but found the best dishes had sold out on two separate road-trip stops, and suggested the kitchen prepare more during busy periods.

Reviewers describe it as a spot for both a quiet lunch and a night out with music, with staff generally called good and efficient, though Coster (May 2026) thought the waitresses could use a better uniform. Reflections opens daily, 08:00 to 22:00.
