Sis Phathi's is a traditional-food kitchen in the city centre run by Siphatisiwe Ncube, cooking over open fires in an alley kitchen that has been running for about 15 years. Dishes include boiled village-reared chicken, ox-head stew, tripe, okra and small-grain sadza made from sorghum or millet, with meals around $5. It was featured in AFP's June 2026 report on Bulawayo's traditional-food revival.
