Stop over Bar and Restaurant

Stop Over on George Silundika Street in the CBD is a drinking spot first, and reviewers describe cold beer and a lively crowd more than any dish. Panashe (April 2025) liked the “cheap cold beers friendly atmosphere” and noted there are no hawkers, while Tadiwanashe (March 2026) said the meat “is cheap and it cooks very fast”. Melyn (June 2025), a returning regular, called it a “second home” with staff who are super friendly.

Not every visit is smooth: one 2023 reviewer was served warm alcohol and found staff dodgy that night. Stanley described the venue as spacious but not upmarket, with a takeaway counter, a car wash and a big projector screen alongside the bar. Stop Over is open daily from 09:00 to 23:00.
