The Brahman at Sam Levy's Village runs on a British gastropub menu, and the beef Wellington gets the strongest praise. Kyle (May 2026) called it “the best meal of my week in Harare” and “the best Beef Wellington I have ever had”, enough to book two visits in one trip. Ruvarashe (April 2026) found a rump steak “cooked perfectly, juicy, tender and full of flavour”, though a sirloin ordered medium well “came well done” instead.

Service holds up well at the bar. Josh (March 2026) said the bartenders “pay attention to the customer’s needs and offer suggestions as they go”, though warned the volume near the bar runs loud. Grace (November 2025) had a table forgotten during a busy night but was served and thanked a waiter, Richard, after staff apologised.

“My rump was cooked perfectly, juicy, tender and full of flavour. Tallow fries were quite good, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The strawberry mojito had way too much ice for my liking. The toffee pudding g was alright, not a fan of the almonds.”

“It was such a lovely experience. The waiter received me warmly and I got a table inside. They seemed a bit busy though because they kept forgetting about my table but they eventually served me and apologised. I had their chicken with yorkshire pudding and mazowe with soda water.”
