The Kraal, run out of Busters Sports Club in Ilanda, is known for its pizza and grilled meat. Lizzie (February 2019) called it “the best pizza in town”, and Anthony (August 2018) went further, calling it “Definitely the best restaurant in Bulawayo” and recommending the pizzas. Andy (April 2019) singled out a tender porterhouse and “mouthwatering” chicken peri peri, and Tinashe (February 2019) said the stuffed kraal chicken “was on point” at a birthday dinner where a staff member, Jessie, was thanked by name.

The room gets busy, especially on weekend nights, and reviewers describe a strong atmosphere with live bands on some evenings. Josh (April 2019) noted that the main room “gets packed and the room gets stuffy” when full. Service is usually praised, but Dave (2017) found it “terrible” on a busy night when the kitchen had also run out of some menu items, and Thorsten (April 2018) said beer “came bit slowly as soon as tge restaurant was full”.

Junior (December 2018) enjoyed the food but wanted the salads and gravy improved. Most of the reviews here date from 2017 to 2019. The Kraal serves dinner Monday to Saturday, 18:00 to 21:00, and is closed Sundays.
