The Ivory Café

The Ivory Café in Masvingo's Westview Industrial area draws people back mostly for breakfast. Nicholas (December 2025) called it “Breakfast was top tier,” with generous portions and prompt service, and Chimbi (October 2023) found the waiters “fast and efficient” though thought “the food is more costly, not equipment to the quality.”

Slow service is the complaint that recurs most. Natasha (March 2026), rating the visit 2 stars, said “The real challenge is how long orders take to arrive,” and Emmanuel (2024) suggested “the waitresses need to be a little more quicker in service.” Melissa (September 2024) went further, calling service “slow as he'll” and the kitchen “stingy with chips.”

Ribs have also slipped for some regulars. Shingie (2025), on a disappointing takeaway order, asked “Whatever happened to the juicy ribs they used to sell in the past.” Definate (September 2023) had a better visit, served “one of the best steaks mouth watering.” Parking near the café can be tight.
