Alfresco in Greendale draws people in for breakfast, coffee and the chicken mayo sandwich made with seeded bread. Debbie found it “beyond expectations” and called the carrot cake “to die for” in a 2025 review. Samantha, also in 2025, agreed the seeded bread made the sandwich better than usual, though the twine used to tie it up had embedded itself in the filling, and Samantha's chai latte was “a bit mid”. Grace (2024) compared the space to “the Starbucks of Zimbabwe” but wished the serving staff were friendlier.
