Moongate is a Chinese restaurant in Belgravia built around a garden entrance, and reviewers linger on the design before the food. Girmay (February 2025) described “a majestic walkway into the garden under moon arches” leading to a glass-walled dining room, and Clotilda (October 2025) relaxed in the cabanas and wrote “you actually forget you're near the bustles of the city.”

Zephinath, in a 2025 review, found the food “fresh and full of flavor” and named the “sweet and sour chicken and noodles” as highlights. Tanatswa (November 2025) called the hake portion “very generous,” and Ruvarashe (November 2025) liked the dumplings, which “were quite good,” though found the chicken “a little too dry.”

“I love the unique architecture and design of the place, but the food wasn’t particularly memorable. The chicken was a little too dry, however the dumplings were quite good. They have generous portions which is great for larger groups.”
