Tanya (August 2025) rated the food “a 9/10” after mashed potatoes and beef rolled with bacon, while a partner had brown sadza and oxtail.

E (January 2025) called the oxtail “the winner” and noted the kitchen cooks with vegetables from its own garden and meat and fish sourced locally. Tafadzwa (June 2025) added that the “breakfast buffet had a great variety of fresh options” alongside reasonably priced hotel meals.

“This is a gem!! The property is beautifully designed and well maintaned. Staff are super skilled and the food is delicious (incl vegetarian options). I stayed in a safaritent on the campsite and that was very comfy while being able to mesmerize at the stars at night.”
