Grace (2025) called the food “the best I have had in Harare in a long while”, though found the welcome and service lacking that visit. Lorraine (2023) sampled most of the menu's meats and loved the malva pudding, for about $30 a head including starters, mains and dessert.

Max (July 2026) found the food quality good but said a medium chilli order had “absolutely nothing” in the way of heat.

“The food!! Wow! The best I have had in Harare in a long while. Fresh, well cooked and so tasteful. 5 star to the chefs. Love the atmosphere. It is so cozy, and I love that they had heaters to keep us warm. To be honest the service wasn’t the best and neither was the welcome.”

“I love the fact that I order my meals online and they always come still hot, I’m yet to visit the restaurant. Have always enjoyed their steamed rice or egg rice with chicken stir fry, today added Sushi and I thoroughly enjoyed.”
