Nicole (2025) found the beef and chicken chow mein came in “generous portion sizes” for around $10 with a drink, and Mrs C. (2024) named “beef, vegetables or chicken noodles” among the favourites, alongside good sweet and sour chicken.

Not every dish lands the same way. Rachel (2024) ordered sizzling pork that came “with lots of salt and a tad burnt/dry”, though a companion's chicken chowmein was “perfect”. Mrs C. (2024) also flagged the payment counter staff as impatient and unhelpful, even while praising the waiters as “quite hospitable and polite”.

“Shangri-la. A mix of Asian cuisines. It is basically a Chinese restaurant but they have Thai, Japanese and Malaysian dishes as well. Generous servings. Good service. We enjoyed the chicken with cashew nuts. And the Sushi too.”
