Signatures Borrowdale opened to good early reviews, but recent visits describe a kitchen and service team struggling to keep up. Divine (June 2026) said the restaurant “started out very well” with great atmosphere, but grilled meat arrived cold on one visit and a takeaway order came up half the portion Divine had paid for. Able (January 2026) had a similarly rough time, describing a waitress who could not answer basic questions about steak weights, ageing or pizza quality, and who disappeared for “10-15mins” mid-service.

Tinotenda (January 2026) found the burger charred, the pork overly salty, and steaks cooked to the wrong temperature across the table, calling the samoosas “thick fried buns with over salted beef pieces inside”. Kudakwashe (April 2026) warned that prices change between ordering and paying: “DO NOT GO THERE unless you pay immediately”. Not every visit goes wrong: Philonious (March 2026) found “Affordable beer, great food and free Wifi”.
