Dagmer (June 2026) brought 16 family members for a 60th birthday lunch and found “a good range of food items” served by staff who were “friendly and helpful and very kind”, in a room kept clean down to the “clean toilets”. The buffet runs to a set time, but Dagmer (June 2026) said guests are “free to hang around for as long as we wanted after eating”.

Annematthewszim, staying overnight in June 2026 just after the resort reopened following refurbishment, rated breakfast, lunch and dinner “all excellent quality” with good service throughout the stay.

Lunch at The Beck runs from 12pm to 4pm, and the kitchen will cook trout that guests catch from the resort's stocked lake.

“We can here for lunch buffet for my mothers 60th bday with 16 family members. It was really nice and we were served well. The buffet have a good range of food items. The views are stunning and we stayed back taking pictures etc after we finished eating.”
