Chop Chop in Avondale runs an all-day breakfast and grill menu, and reviewers keep naming the burgers. Daniel (February 2025) called it “The best burgers in Harare” after trying the double beef and double lamb, and Farai (September 2023) agreed the burgers “are just amazing”. LAH (November 2024) goes for the deboned beef ribs and rated the mushroom toast starter highly, while Lideo (May 2026) had “Best frued fish” served with egg fried rice, gravy and mushroom soup.

Staff get named more often here than at most listings. Waiters called Paddington and Pardington turn up in separate reviews for attentive service, Ropafadzo (April 2025) said Pardington's service was “12/10”, and Florence (January 2025) singled out a host, Anna, who won over Florence's six year old. Manager Tawanda is also thanked by name, in 2023 and again in 2025.

A couple of complaints surface without becoming a pattern. W (July 2026) noticed staff chatting among themselves instead of watching the tables, and Keith (May 2025) was frustrated that the restaurant's TV had stopped working ahead of a weekend of F1. Chop Chop opens daily from around 7am, staying open later on Fridays and Saturdays.
