Lake Harvest Shop, Bar and Grill in Kariba is run by the Lake Harvest fishing company and built around flame-grilled bream. Sifelani (May 2024) said to “try their bream it beats the best”, and Vimbai Mukwekwezeke (April 2024) called it simply “the best fish I've ever had”.

Waiting for that fish is the recurring complaint. Vimbai Musangeya (July 2025) said grilled fish “takes 1hr 30minutes ti have it ready”, and Deolyn (2024) arrived hungry at 9am and waited “for like 5 hours”. Paradzai (July 2023) explained that supply has been “erratic of late”, and Edmond (December 2023) asked “Always out of fish for braai?”.

“The food is really nice but i didn't enjoy the service at all. Woke up to a beautiful day and headed there because i was hungry and a friend had recommended it. I think i arrived there at 9 in the morning and the chef had us waiting for like 5 hours which is so wrong”
