Nyasha (June 2023) tried the “fresh kapenta coated with eggs” and called it “the bomb”, and Wadzanai (October 2022) had a first taste of “batter kapenta” while praising the lake view from the restaurant. “I had an amazing experience. Splendid moments as well. The rooms were very tidy, the linen wow! Carribea Bay Hotel staff was very welcoming and friendly. The jumping castles for the little ones, boat cruises too. Food lovers would definitely appreciate the cuisine.”

“With a breath taking view of Lake Kariba it was amazing. From the rooms to the restaurant the food was great and the staff even better. I enjoyed my first taste of batter kapenta.. Ooo almost forget to mention the swimming pool that place can have you stay there the whole day.”

“Good to see the supa tube is still running. I would suggest build a toilet close by and a bar. I felt sorry for the waiters walking all that way. Ordering our food did take a while (over an hour) and there was no excuse as the hotel was not busy at all.”

“An amazing experience, staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are amazing and complimented with memorable views. The only thing that needs improvement is their menu offering and the food. Being a chef, I was quite disappointed by the food.”
