Melfort Meat & Grill

Melfort Meat & Grill is a roadside stopover on the Harare-Mutare highway. Macdonald (April 2025) said “The meat is always fresh and well-grilled, with generous portions and rich flavour,” and recommends the braai plates, “especially the pork chops and boerewors.” Tailone (September 2025) had the “t bone medium rare” with a decent chips portion, though “The mushroom sauce was a bit flat.”

Service draws mostly good marks but slips when it gets busy. Ronald (July 2025) found “service was quick staff was very helpful and responsive,” while Macdonald (April 2025) noted “it can get a bit slow during busy times,” and Moses (May 2026), rating the visit 3 stars, agreed “Service a bit on the slow side.”

The setting is clean and quiet with easy parking, and Meredith (May 2026) was pleased that the manager “actually asked for feedback” on a visit Meredith found reasonably priced.
