Pamujinga sits in the Bvumba mountains outside Mutare, and until early 2026 reviews describe relaxed afternoons among gardens and mountain views. Sabrina (January 2025) called it set in “the beautiful vumba mountains” with “Gorgeous view” and “Delicious food”. Kate (November 2024) said the pasta was “as good as you would be served in Italy” and the lasagne “exceptional” at a very reasonable price. Paul (September 2024) rated the T-bone “cooked to perfection”.

Since April 2026, two separate reviewers report serious problems on visits with groups of five. Maria (April 2026) waited “2 hours and 30 minutes” for food, said the dishes “didn't arrive together” so some diners ate while others waited, and found the fish dry and the pizza “small and made with low-quality ingredients”. Nils (April 2026), also in a group of five, reported a “2,5h” wait, described the acoustics as “horrible”, and said staff met complaints with excuses rather than compensation.

Earlier visits describe a friendly owner and attentive service, with Kath (October 2024) thanking staff “David and Welsh for being so attentive”. Pamujinga opens daily, 08:00 to 22:00.

“We where a group of 5, and only one other table in the restaurant when we arrived for dinner at 19h. We ordered two pizzas, one pasta, one fish and one pork chops. The acoustics of the place is horrible, extremely loud echo making it hard to hold conversation.”
